#TakeBackWhat'sYours Campaign

Hi!! Today's post is about a campaign called Take Back What's Yours and I was tagged by Melissa from The Hopeful Wayfarer. The campaign was originally started by Chloe from Chloe's Concept, and the purpose of this campaign is to use our New Year's resolution to benefit our entire life.

The rules:

1. Write a blog post talking about this campaign, the message it contains and why you are taking part.
2. What Take Back What's Yours New Year Resolution you're going to set for yourself.
3. Tag 10 bloggers to take part.
4. Let Chloe know you're taking part by usingt the hashtag on Twitter #TakeBackWhatsYours, also tag @ChloesConcept or @TBWYCampaign so she can retweet you.
5. If you can, include a photo of yourself with a handmade poster (doesn't have to be artistic) with the words:
                                                  "TAKE BACK WHAT'S YOURS -

MAKE YOUR NEW YEARS RESOLUTION TO TAKE BACK WHAT BELONGS TO YOU. #TakeBackWhatsYours
In 2015, I'm taking back: *i.e., "my confidence"

* With that photo, you can upload it with a message on her Tumblr site. She wants to get as many photos of people as possible so that we can put faces to names and bring a sense of reality to this campaign! This is the link OR you can upload it to your Instagram site (if that's more convenient to you!) but make sure you use the #TakeBackWhatsYours so she can see it and save it so she can upload it to a big post with everyone's picture!
* There is no set deadline - just as soon as you can write the post, the better, to get the message spread!
* Let's get #TakeBackWhatsYours trending and let the world know we're here to make a difference.

My Take Back What's Yours New Year resolution is that I want my confidence back. I really want my confidence back because it has stopped me from doing many things but since I wasn't confident enough I would not do them.
I've never been the a very confident person, but in the past few years I lost pretty much what I had left of it. I don't know exactly why this happened or why I can't get it back. Sometimes I feel like there's no one I can be me with and that makes me really sad. My lack of confidence got worse when I changed to a new school in 10th, I only did 1 year in there, but let's just say that it wasn't the best year for me. During that year I lost confidence in things that I used to have a lot of confidence; for example, I couldn't participate in class anymore because I couldn't even raising my hand to answer even though I knew the answer. It wasn't a very good year, most of the time I will be excluded from the conversions between my classmates and that didn't help at all, it made me feel like an outsider.
This is why I want my confidence back. I want to be able to be me wherever I am no matter who I am with, I want to be able to do the things that I like without thinking of what other people think of me, I want to participate in class, I want to be happy with myself. I hope this year will be awesome and I want to make really good friends who I can be me with.
I was really happy when Melissa tagged me because this is an awesome campaign that could make a significant change to someone's life, so thank you Melissa for tagging me. I want more people to take part in this beautiful campaign, believe me you won't regret it!

I tag:

This is it for today's post! I hope you liked it! Feel free to participate in this campaign even if I didn't tag you!

What's in my backpack?

Hi everybody!! So this week I went back to school and now I'm offcially a junior! I can't believe that next year I'll be a senior! To start with my back to school posts I thought that I would show you whats in my backpack! Let's get started!

The backpack above is the one I'm using at the moment and I bought it while I was in Mexico! I love it so much because it is pretty big so I can put lots of things in there and I just love the design! Call me crazy but I have kind of an addiction with backpacks, I mean I already have 3 backpacks for this year! I don't know why but I just love backpacks!

Now to what's inside! Since it has only been a week since school started I don't have lots of things inside.

Notebook, pencil case, scientific calculator, a flash drive and my locker key.

Extra paper and my agenda.

In my free time I like to read and at the moment I'm reading Lord of the Flies.

Laptop and headphones.

Water bottle because I'm always thirsty at school.

Lip balm and my inhaler.

That's all I have inside my backpack! Hope you liked today's post!

Infinity Dreams Award

There are no words to explain how happy I am to be nominated for this award, when I saw that I was nominated I could barely hold all of my excitement! But I wouldn't be nominated if it wasn't because Shali from The Collection of Knowledge decided to nominate me and I am so thankful for that, especially because I love her blog. So let's get started!

Rules:
1. Thank and follow the blog that has nominated you.
2. Tell us 11 facts about you.
3. Answer the questions that were set up for you.
4. Nominate 11 and make your questions for them.

11 facts about me:

1. I am a very shy person, but once I gain confidence with I can be pretty loud.

2. I've always been a picky eater, I think I've been one ever since I was a baby because my mom always tell me that when I was a baby it was really hard for her to make me eat.

3.  I'm a short girl because I am only 5'1.

4.  I love spicy food, since I'm Mexican most of the food that I eat is spicy.

5. One of my all time favorite movies is Harry Potter, I could literally watch them over and over again and not get tired of them.

6. I love sweets! Anything that is sweet I love it!

7. When I was 12 I had a surgery to remove my adenoids because they were too big and they will make breathing really hard for me, they were so big that when the doctor saw the X-rays to see how big they were he was so surprised because I had the biggest adenoids he had seen. But now I'm fine and breathing is so much easier.

8. Whenever I get nervous I start shaking a lot and my whole body hurts and sometimes I can't even eat because everything makes me feel sick.

9. I suck at sports especially if it invloves a ball, the only sport I'm good at is swimming; I love swimming!

10. I've always had a fringe, I think that's how people recognize me "the girl with curly hair and a fringe".

11. I don't like coffee, thanks God that Starbucks has drinks with no coffee in them otherwise I would be very sad.

Questions for me:

1. What is the best compliment you have ever gotten?
Someone once said to me that my smile was so big and pretty that it could light up the world.

2. What is the best way to dry your hair: natural, towel or blow dry?
For me the best way is natural. I hate using a towel because it rends to break my hair and to blow dry it I would have to use a lot of heat, so I prefer natural especially becuase it makes my curls looks more natural.

3. Do you know any good jokes?
Sadly no, I'm very bad at jokes.

4. If you could only shop at one store, what store would that be?
Forever 21 for sure, I love everything in that store so much that sometimes I just go there even though I now I'm not buying anything.

5. What is one language that you want to learn the most?
Well I already know english and spanish and I have been taking French lessons, so I would love to become fluent in French.

6. Are you left or right handed? Or both?
I am right handed.

7. What's your favorite condiment?
Anything spicy!

8. What is your favorite social media account?
I love Pinterest! I could spend hours and not get bored!

9. Is crying a sign of weakness or strength?
It depends on what you're crying for, but I would say strenghth because we are all living organisms and crying is absolutely normal and sometimes crying seems like the only way to show how you feel either if your crying for happiness or sadness.

10. Which is more useful, dictionary or thesaurus?
It wasn't until last year when I was in 10th that I started using a thesaurus and I found it so much more useful and easier to use than a dictionary.

11. Most important quality to have?
I'll say kindness, because by being kind you can make someones day; I hate when people are rude.

I nominate:

1. Emily
2. Roxy
3. Carli
4. M
5. Ashlynn B
6. Ashley
7. Rachel
8. Ira
9. Brigita
10. Carly
11. Monika

My questions:

1. What's the best book you've eve read?
2. Who's your celebrity crush?
3. If you had a chance to go back in time, when and where would you go and why?
4. Favorite song of all times?
5. Has 2015 been awesome for you?
6. What's one thing that you will love to do but at the same time you are a little scared to do it?
7. What was your favorite toy when you were little?
8. What's one thing you can't live without?
9. Favorite pizza topping?
10. What's your favorite you've ever been too?
11. What is your wildest dream?

So that's it! Thanks again to Shali for nominating! I'm excited to read everyone's else posts!

Christmas nails

Hi! This is my last post before Christmas and it is all about Christmas nails! I love painting my nails and I'm not wasting an opportunity to make my nails look all Christmassy, so I decided to paint them like this and I'm about to show you how to do it. Let's start!

You'll need:
* Base coat
* Red nail polish
* White nail polish
* Nail striper
* Dotting tool
* Top coat

1. Start with applying a base coat.

2. Paint 4 of your nails with red nail polish.

3. Using a nail striper and white nail polish to write ho in 3 of your nails and it will say ho, ho, ho just like when Santa Claus says ho ho ho.

4. Using your nail striper and white nail polish paint some stripes on your pinky nail.

5. I draw a triangle using red nail polish and then using using my dotting tool and white nail polish I added the pom-pom and the white stripe.

6. Put your top coat on your design to seal it.

That's it! It may take time to do it but at the end you'll love it! And it will look perfect for Christmas! Hope you liked today's post! Merry Christmas!

DIY Clothespins Snowflakes

Hi!! Today I'm sharing a very cool Holiday DIY project! I love snowflakes so much, even though I haven't seen one in real life because where I live there is no snow! So this  DIY is awesome because it makes me feel like if they were real snowflakes! Let's get started!

Materials:
* Clothespins
* Glue gun
* White paint
* Paint brush
* Glitter

Procedure:

1.  First of all you'll need 6 clothespins for each snowflake.

2. Remove all of the springs.

3. Glue them together.

4. Use your white paint to paint them.

5. Glue them all together. Make sure they join at the middle to create the shape of a snowflake.

6. Add some glitter to make it shine.

That's it! It is really easy and I love how it turned out! If you tie some string to it you could even use them as ornaments! I hope you liked it!
